Hello Tasha and a warm welcome to the site.

There seems to be an influx of rhyming poets at P&Q recently, and I love that as I am one myself, primarily. It seems to be a dying art, but when done properly, is an absolute joy to read.

As to the content, why has this person lost themselves? Depression? A failed relationship? have they done something awful? Anyway, finding a way back to our true selves is often the hardest thing to do.

What a lovely little piece you have written here. I must admit I'm a sucker for rhyming poetry as that's mainly what I write though as Ben says its like a dying art.
The content of this piece is rather enthralling because it makes the reader think why exactly this person feels the way they do and at first I thought depression then I re-read and wasn't so sure.
