Andrea, this is a wonderful piece that gave me Goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes for some reason. It was (as Ben says) soothing as well as unique.

There is a gentle soothing to this write which slowly brings in the reader into the writer's world/feelings.

When I gaze upon a summery shade of sorrow

^^I like the contrast here. Summer is always related to heat, passion but to relate it with sorrow shows rather the tells the amount of sadness which is consuming your heart.

wilted dreams within my acoustic tears
play a melancholy tune, only I know how to-

^^Another heart touching lines. I can see dreams which are lifeless and a soul sitting under the try crying her heart out.

Yet this write seems like its a point of view from a bird or part of a tree rather then a person. Which makes it even more emotional.

Then again it can be a spirit of a poet who has wilted away under that very same tree and its spirit is moaning and creating an atmosphere which is alluring and at the same time melancholic.

This piece is filled with so much contrast and emotions. I love the perspective and the allure to this amazing, unique piece. The images not only convey the sorrow this author is experiencing but they manage to convey a sense of beauty despite that pain. Absolutely stunning piece with extraordinary sense of storytelling. The entire audience gets to try on a different pair of shoes and see something they've experienced from another side and I personally love pieces that can do that.
