Harvest time (Haiku)

crisp fruit falls from trees
where red leaves begin to furl:
autumn equinox

This really is a genuinely stunning haiku from you. I know compliments can be thrown around left, right and centre on this site, but this is beautiful.
Words like 'crisp', 'fruit' and 'furl' make this a truly...scrumptious! that's it - a Scrumptious little read! an absolute pleasure that cheered me immensely!

    Lovely, lovely work.

    Michael Hello,

Such a beautiful description and so succinctly put.
like Em says i too love to crunch those crispy leaves, rather stamp and do a hopscotch dance....

But the kind of landscape that you are describing, the range of colours of autumn leaves and ripe fruits ready to fall into your laps... is something i have only seen on postcards....what i am witnessing right now-is heavy rains slashing down my window pane. It is still monsoon and green out here....

enjoyed your poem :) thank you.
