    Julie,

I don't know how literal this poem is, but it is certainly strikingly dark and does exactly what it says on the label.

Not to save a life to be ended,
But to fix a heart that cannot be mended.

    ^^
I found this particularly effective in that you are clearly stating death as a cure and not necessarily a tragedy.

It often is easy to imagine a life where we can simply slink into the shadows or melt away and not have to cope, but in my experience, there is a balance to most things. Whatever miseries we suffer now will be made up for by happiness in the future.

Waiting is not much fun though, is it?

take care and all the best,

    Ben

Julie, this is sad because i know all too well the struggles in life and how they can leave us feeling unwanted, worthless and even helpless within our own dark thoughts of how life would be without us and if anybody would even care. Though beautifully written it was heartwrenching to read.

    All the best, Em
