September (Acrostics/Monorhyme)

by Meena Krish   Sep 29, 2016

Sun's temper gradually vacates the place
Ember of tragedy leaves its lasting trace,
Pocketful of colors fall, form a rainbow lace
Time captures nature's beauty and grace,
Entwined fingers spawn an autumn craze
Marking their love upon a bare oak's face,
Building homes, gathering food birds race
Eager kids play the days whilst adults chase,
Retiring summer...dies in winter's embrace.
