Sometimes reality is so bizarre, it's almost science fiction. The Matrix, a blend of pixels so fine, they'll able to write tear jerking sonnet devine; devised by a scotch swilling pentium processor, wearing brogues and bow tie. |

Excellent piece, Ms. Lucero! The layout added to the whole point of the poem and how the narrator is somehow confused. Poetry walks a thin line between reality and fiction, and we will just get caught up with our feelings -- real or imagined -- now matter how we try to escape, and we'll be bothered to put them down on a paper. I like the questions on the last part, got me wondering also... The poems that you make are supposed to capture others, but you're the first captured victim. Haha. Sorry for my rambling. |
