Love Boat For Lease:

by Scott Cole   Oct 7, 2016

I'm a tender hearted vessel
A heart shaped boat,
That's riddled with patches
So I barely stay afloat.

These patches I bare
Are from my breakdowns,
All of the relationships
That gunned me down.

The hull of my boat
It's half falling apart,
From the rough waters
And my broken heart.

My inner shell is worn
From storms I've sailed,
And all of the tourist
That left me derailed.

My used deck is polished
So I'll look my best,
But my motor is good
Because I've been blessed.

What's on the inside
Of my battered boat,
Is my hidden jewel
That keeps me afloat.

If your on the water
Looking for a vessel,
Searching for love
Or someone special.

Listen to your heart
And not to your eyes,
Cause even a Love Boat
Could be in disguise.

If you never do venture
Beyond what you see,
Then you'll never discover
What's waiting for thee.

For a battered little boat
Riddled with scratches,
Could be your Soulmate
Camouflaged in patches.

    If your on the water
    Looking for a vessel,
    Searching for love
    Or someone who's special.

These line are very good. The sound is almost as good as the meaning.
