Injustice cries out for revenge. Pathetic, how it's a small world.

It's been a while since I've stumbled across a sociopolitical piece that wasn't an allegory (not that there's anything wrong with that), it's a nice breath of fresh air.

I really enjoyed this piece, I'm just going to pick out a couple of verses/stanzas that really resonated with me.

"Askin' who can really own a gun?
    A little more melanin"

^ Over the years I've shifted from a strong stance on gun abolishment towards stronger gun-control in the US, I can see the merits of gun ownership, but the legislation regulating the purchase and usage of guns in the US is extremely concerning. This leads me to what I wanted to point out, which is even in open-carry states, people of colour are often targeted and singled out, and subjected to hostile treatment even though they're acting within the confines of the law, here's one of many proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKGZnB41_e4

    "We strive for better,
but the men in blue lackin'
    Slackin' on their duty
    It is truly disgusting
Incarcerated or killed for seemingly nothing"

I have nothing but extremely deep respect for police officers who put their lives at risk for us on a daily basis, but I believe they are ill-trained to deal with certain situations, and that needs to be rectified immediately. If I recall correctly, Norway is one of the countries that mandates a university degree in order to become a police officer and have rigorous training, and I believe in the early 2010s they were renowned for having used only around 90 bullets, half of which were warning shots, and only <10 casualties. It also doesn't help that the media tends to foster this constant sense of unease that is drilled into police officers and the general public by the continuous reporting of police officer killings (I believe it was in New York that an officer was shot at point blank in a cruiser a while back), or police-killings (way too many to count). It does nothing to alleviate the tension between the two groups and is only doing more and more harm. It needs to be addressed in a meaningful manner.

    "Law matters to some,
    Less you're a Clinton
    Striving for the bigger win
    Doesn't matter the sin"

This resonates with me, a lot. It's a bit ridiculous that people are downplaying Clinton's sins by comparing it to Trump's. Sure, Trump is a vile person that is extremely incompetent to be president but that does not excuse Clinton's actions. For instance, the refusal to release the Wall Street transcripts (which ended up being leaked), colluding with the DNC head to secure her democratic nomination, colluding with the media prior to the debate, her email scandal which does not seem to be taken seriously by the general public (it is extremely concerning that a representative of the government did not take the appropriate security measures when handling her email, it's a bit of a hyperbole but I'll compare it to a president mishandling nuclear codes, it prevented correct archiving, as well as the fact that one of her aides literally requested help on how to delete the emails on the servers).

I'm sorry, I realized I went off on a tangent, but I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this spoken word/rap. I just wanted to suggest a couple of hip-hop songs that have political undertones to it, that I think you'll enjoy.
