Eye Candy:

by Scott Cole   Oct 12, 2016

Nevermind her dangerous curves
That consume your every breath,
Or her jaw dropping broad shoulders.
That could lure you to your death.

Nevermind her everlasting beauty
That's eye popping and impressive.
Or her straight forward personality
That's widely open non aggressive.

Nevermind her endless flowing legs
That stretch forth to the Horizon,
Or her adventurous disposition
That could energize you or enliven.

Nevermind her never ending vigor
That will deprive you of your sleep,
Or her smooth and undulate skin
That will make your eyeballs weep.

For it's not the way you arrive there
That grand road of which you travel.
Because the best part of any journey
Are the treats that your eyes unravel.

Actually the poem is about the road and not a woman. I wrote it so people would think that to take your mind off the road and focus on the journey.

Loved this one Scott very much. I liked very much the rhyming and wit and in particular the last stanza. So much so I'm nominating. All the best Milly x
