A Fall

by marvellous efe/ bwoy Finex   Oct 12, 2016

The fall of a hero
A bow to an unimaginable zero
Penalized for doing things he didn't do
'Twas a big life lesson, though it's nothing new

The evidence was pretty clear
But was not what it is
A heart filled with shock and fear
Wondering, what is all this?

Someone wants to make a name by destroying names
Oh! How bad it feels to become a victim, what a shame!
Those dark foes with a makeup face of pretence
Seek for the absence of thy presence.

This truly pains
But couldn't yield a cry
What will thy gain?
Is it the bid of goodbye?

It's sad to heart a sorrow
A time when there's no joy to borrow
Despicable lies of no honor
Speechless, having no formidable armor
What do thou expect
When every act and moves proves a suspect

When thou enemy's win
Thy perfect heart prompt a sin
But let God take the lead
Thy prayer, thy deeds

Men falls
Later stands tall
Mount on top
Where no man can stop.

The poem was about a great one who was penalized for things he did not do, and could not defend himself because everything went against him. It's indeed A Fall.

It is often the most honourable man or woman who are brought to their knees by lesser beings. Beautifully written and an enjoyable read. Milly x
