Clearheaded now, I realized that I had already decided I could no longer go on living with her. I had rejected any hope of recovering from any "accusations", and I even wanted to widen the rift between the two of us. If possible I would make the very earth split open.
There was silence for a long time... Yes, words spoken in the darkness are the truest, I thought. Everything is born in darkness, and all in darkness is real. You could say what you really meant in the darkness, do anything that you really wanted to do. Lies aren't afraid of the light...the truth is...
