So many thoughts are running through my mind after reading this...Dark, yes Dark indeed!

    His beauty reigned
    just as the crow
    amidst
    snow stricken streets

Ok...black crow on white snow? (maybe some significance?)

    Majestic
    ...misunderstood

Unsure of this reference but I think is holds a clue of some sort haha!!

    Flawed only
    by the skin cuddling
    muscle and bone

    Yet,

    Thrust into mental slavery
    simply because
    fear outweighed conscience

I believe the crow is not recognised a bird of any significance and that is what you are suggesting here?

    Oh, how quickly
    seasons change
    in comforting eyes
    When the unknown
    Is brought upon doorsteps

    Poor creature

    Given breath
    to satisfy an unquenchable
    lust for knowledge
    yet, you're the one

    ...who's learned
    the greatest lesson

Again..I can only guess but, I think you are saying that even the most mundane bird can be a winner, albeit an unnoticed one in this society...totally random thoughts from me lol!!!

Strong imagery, masterful control of pacing and delicately chosen vocabulary. I enjoyed this greatly!
