Kaleidoscope (Tanka)

In the profound seas
I look for a part of me
Broken glass and shells
between kaleidoscope worlds
creation and destruction

Tanka is a variation of the Haiku - 5/7/5/7/7

    A fabulously written tanka Jessica.
    We may search for pieces of ourselves but will not find all the pieces as some of them are locked away and rightly so.

    A beautifully written tanka, Jessica. This form interests me as I tried one not long back. I think traditionally they tend to be about love, but they have evolved to be more encompassing.
