Don't Give Up

When your face hits the floor
And despair is at your door
Don't be afraid
Stand up and fight some more

When your beat up and broken
Don't let defeat get you chokin
Because losing is in winning
So keep your fire stokin

Stand tall
Strong as a wall
Keep your mind clear
and throw away fear

Don't be afraid of getting back up
just because you will be beat up
that is the nature of life
whoever told you there won't be strife?

Whoever told you that you only have one shot
Miss and that's all you got?
That's a fallacy
To give you a doomed mentality

Time is eternal
Without beginning or end

Mistakes to be made
A debt that can't be paid
And that's why Christ was sent here
So that we could all be saved

The spirit is willing
but the flesh is weak
Let your soul be your body
And it will do as you seek

Bam, smack, a beat to the head,
You fall to the ground, almost dead
But that doesn't stop us, we stand up
And we raise our fists again, just to be beat up

That's what I call Immortal not the fact that we don't fall
But the fact that we always get up again
Rather than not at all

We might not be gods
but we have what it takes to be His children;
heart, and potential
Strive and you will grow exponential

My life honestly is like a playlist of music
Put on shuffle and repeat
stand up then fall back down, promise to myself to do better and sometimes do worse than before. But so is life a hardship of trial and error and even though I succeed so little compared to how much I fail I would rather try than not try at all, otherwise I might as well
