Endless

by Maple Tree   Nov 12, 2016

I vaguely remember the cracks of your eyes-

Pools of lies rest there
like a vision you made up.

Oh those lonely angels
were never fed Mother,
you clipped their wings
leaving them to die a
painful death.

How I wish you never
created me...

How I wish for you
to slip away slowly,
so that I may forget
this darkness you created.

A lot of pain in so few words, even in the darkest of poetry, among the words with the greatest pain, I found beauty in the write.

    Andrea,
I know how it feels to have a not so good relationship with a mother.
Its painful and we never forget (and in my case never forgive). Such a beautiful write and very descriptive. I ache for you.

Andrea, I am sorry you have (let's say) a turbulent relationship with your mother, I am the same but with my Dad.
I know exactly how you feel though it is no compensation to your feelings

    All the best.

Andrea, this is so deep and sad. I intaked a breath when I read about her clipping those angels wings leaving them to die a painful death. Such a beautiful dark write-
