Whining Women

by Denise Jefferson   Nov 26, 2016

This hurts, that hurts
I can't, I won't
Lips poked out
Like an old pig snout
Complain, complain, complain
This is the life
Of whining women
It it's not a can't
It's a pain
And what a pain it is
Close your ears, so you won't hear
And into your heart, her words they drop
One by one,her words they eat
Your heart now has contaminated meat
And these are the words you say
It hurts, that hurts
I can't, I won't
You open your eyes and now you see
This is not what you want to be
Too late because now you are
This whining woman
Who complain, complain, complain
Oh the pain, the pain, the pain

To complain, is to call for pain. Who won't meditate, agitates.

A wonderful write, Denise, simply because it isn't about whining MEN and their 'man flu' and every other 'ailment', lol.
Made me laugh so thanks for that.

    Take care,

    Hi Denise,
I really enjoyed this piece. It made me smile, for how true it is! As we age, our aches and pains seem to multiply don't they? This was a very clever way of turning a real life issue into a humorous situation, and what better way to cope? Though, some people do seem to complain more than others and perhaps you have encountered that as well, huh? Great write, I enjoyed it. Take care.
