this is beautiful. I was looking at a 'buttermilk sky' the other evening. There was moderate cloud cover and the sunset was obscured, but still, this effect of the luminescent, buttermilk sky quality was there. I understand this metaphor of tears, rich with emotions, pouring from a heaven.
