Oh N, this is sad....one of my husbands and my favorite questions when one of our adult kids do stuff like this is: "So what did you learn from this?" Do not let this demon win this war! Whatever it takes for you to conquer these demons you need to gather your strength and do this! I have all the faith in you that you can! Sending hugs and strength to you!

The plight of the alcoholic, indeed. I wish I could make it better, though I am so far away. Even your demons are beautiful, N.

S.. My lovely S.. you do make it better..
You may have noticed i "snap" you a lot. Mostly just a personal distraction from my thoughts or to tell you something. Even meaningless to you such as going out to lunch, is a big event for me.. so thank you for putting up with it :)

You are too kind with your words of beauty!!

Much love back and im always here for yo

    Hello Naomi,

This poem is heart wrenching. It really describes the battle with drink. The important thing is to keep fighting. One day you will win and you'll be able to look back at this time knowing you've moved on.

    Stay strong. X

Dark stuff, Naomi as is the case with so many of your writes. No complaints here, though. I have to admit, most of my stuff is far from jovial and there is something rather emotionally raw about these sorts of writes. Also, they challenge the reader to plunge to depths that they never thought to go...
    sorry :)

    Great write,

    Ben

    Naomi,
A sad piece here....what important is You knew already....next time you will never let him win. .... The moral lesson you learn from this experience is the most important. ... hugs Naomi

N, we all make 'mistakes' as they say. I know exactly how this is.. Entering a vicious cycle of drinking to forget then being reminded in the morning and wondering where we went wrong or what we did to deserve things but remember you're strong and fighting the urge to meet our maker is one of the strongest things you can do.

    Take care, love you.
