I'm tip toeing over the edge
about fall in reverse
with arms open wide
ready to come crashing down

But your claws are in too deep
and I can't seem to escape
you've gotten under my skin now
and I'm begging for release

My heart is too broken
and I can't take the ache
I am just hoping for, praying for
you to untangle me from these chains

My wrists are raw and bleeding,
my screams have all died
I am weary of fighting, tired of tugging
I am stuck, trapped with no where to go

Please... all I am asking,
is that you set me free
