The ticking off the night

Ha! Ha! Ha!.. Nice poem. I like reading this one. Night like this comes in people's life. They keep on staring at the ceiling, thinking and thinking.

I can relate

Thinking keeps the mind awake and it can never seem to fall asleep. I can relate to this night..nicely penned.

Well done, so have been there! My mind races with thoughts and I should be writing these down. But my brain is also telling me to sleep too. What to do???

I like this a lot, in all seriousness - not least because it sounds like one of my typical nights where sleep eludes me and I find myself running up and down the stairs in the small hours scribbling ideas for poems. Of course, the irony is, that's what's keeping me awake to begin with!
