Winter Solstice

Winter solstice is my favorite holiday. While it is the darkest it could be all year, there is no chance of darker days - and no uncertainty that brighter days are just hours away. For who wouldn't endure one day of darkness for the promise of brighter tomorrows. |

I'm a Summer person myself, but I like Winter a little more than I used to now after reading this. You've given a good perspective that I've never thought of. Thanks for sharing it :)
