Hello Brenda, I am just made up with how many people are writing poems this Christmas. This acrostic really creates a nostalgic image for me. One of lying in bed trying to sleep on Christmas eve, then eventually, after many hours (or so it seemed) falling off to sleep only to wake early and run down the stairs with my brother and sister. As I recall, mum and dad saved decorating the living room until late Christmas eve. This must have been a lot of work for them, setting up a wonderful scene, but they did and as a consequence I have happy memories from this time. I am not sure when it was I realised that the big man was a myth, but perhaps when I was 21? lol

Loved this for my Christmas acrostic group challenge and love it still.
Sometimes I wish santa was still real as I'd ask him for peace.

It's nearly, Christmas!!!!
I remember this feeling too. To add to the santa element. My gran used to stay and that really rocked our world.
