Until his life has reached its end
There really isn’t anything
Of greater value than a friend
A friend is all you’ll ever need
When times of crises are at hand
And you are looking all about
For someone who will understand
And when a sadness fills your heart
And only darkness you can see
It helps a lot to have a friend
Who at your side right then can be
Or if you feel a loneliness
That simply will not go away
Its wonderful to have a friend
To bring you smiles across the day
I know it would be hard for me
With out a loyal friend or two
