A simple gesture
An offered hand
Eyes suddenly connecting
Losing control
- and -
Giving in
Falling first all over again

A simple hello
Passionate goodbye
Experience in shortness of time
Looking forward
- and -
Looking back
There was a kiss the best one yet
Excitement not previously met

A simple wish
Soon received
Unknown certainty
To look
- and -
To be seen
To touch, to need
To love unapologetically
And forever kept in memory
