Dear Husband

Your kiss, your embrace, your laugh,
These are the things I want to last.
Your charm, your smile, your touch,
These are the things I love so much.

Your kiss awakens my soul,
Your sweet embrace makes me feel whole.
Your laugh is my favorite song,
Without you I don't know where I'd belong.

Your charm is so captivating,
Your smile, intoxicating.
Your touch makes me want more,
But, your love is what I most adore.

This is just a quick 10 minute poem I wrote for my husband. I know it could use some work. I wanted to write more but I couldn't think of anything else. I'm open to suggestions to make it better. Not sure of the title either.

    Kasie, this is lovely. To be honest, sometimes it's these 'quick 10 minute poems' that are the very best; they are raw and honest. I say it quite often but it's writes like these that always strike me as the best as they aren't 'over-produced' or polished to within an inch of their lives. I think some of the genuine feeling can be lost that way.
