Blackened hearts filter roses
with scattered thorns, tongues
piercing mercy within a stormy
dawning of emotionless men.

Forgive me-
I've tasted far to many drinks
tainted with false syllables....

    Hello Andrea,

    Nightclubs are so seedy - full of emotionless men and women only wanting one thing. What happened to the old fashioned dance halls, where ladies sat around the edge of the room waiting to be asked into the centre to dance, ball room dancing. Lovely!

    Here's to the good old days.
