Sweet love dipped in acid,
Twisted beauty burns your eyes,
Utter just a single sound,
I'll cut your tongue of lies.

No words are needed from you now,
Your chance has come and gone,
Do not try, you'll only fail,
Dead before the dawn.

You never even loved yourself,
How could you love me?
Bound here by your tortured past,
Pretending to be free.

Taking all your hand could touch,
Exploiting every feeling,
Giving nothing in return,
So good at concealing.

A woman scorned, forever burns,
Spark to blazing fire,
A search to find you in the night,
To drown out all desire.

Tell me how you like me now,
No longer in control,
Begging for your beating heart,
Screaming for your soul.

    Your imagery here is stunning, and the overall piece is spot on. The only downside about this, which is a personal complaint, is the fact that the every line capitalizations get annoying after a while.

    Anyway, the imagery adds to your flow and this is absolutely captivating. Great piece!
