Can I tell you Something? January 15, 2017

by Everlasting   Jan 15, 2017

I search for the sunrise in these waves of life;
in these still waters
that sometimes become turbulent with the winds

I search for some oxygen; for
some sort of life to breathe in me

I search for an island; a place to land
and find some peace

I've been floating and swimming,
and often diving deep
....deep down in oceans and oceans
that drown the ME in them

I come to the surface
but it's always the same

So I search for the sunrise
to admire it
and just lose myself
in its glowing
rays

When we experience the full throttle of life we have to stop and think which leads us to search the meaning of life beyond what we see.

I like your chosen title its as if you want to share what you feel and at the same time its like you are talking to a diary/reader a secret perhaps you want to share.

    Nicely done...take care.

Luce, as always this is an awesome, thought provoking and unique write.

1/ There are good and bad in everything but we should always fight the storms to come through and find the sunshine.

2/ Sometimes its difficult to find what we want in life to keep us breathing and living but as soon as we stop searching it comes, usually anyway.

3/ If you find this place can I please join you?? You'd still have peace as I'm quiet haha.

4/ life can feel like it's drowning us but we will eventually fins our purpose within life.

5/ Life can be samey but it's what we make it, right?

6/ Love this.. Search for the good things in life and appreciate them, we should all do this.

    Excellent as always.

    Lucero,

I suppose we all get lost in the ocean of life sometimes, and it isn't always easy to find a piece of land to rest our tired limbs on, but we must always keep our heads above the surface and look for the sun.

This is a very well written piece.

    All the best,

    Ben
