The Dogs in the Street Dog One Another

by Everlasting   Jan 17, 2017

Down the corner to the left, across the gas station,
a dog dogs a dog while another dog tails and dogs another dog's tail

suddenly, more dogs start tailing and dogging more dogs.

The road becomes a circus of dogging one another
while the street lamps and hydrants watch from the corner

silently,

as if they are trying to slither out of the dog's way.
