I'm an inspirational writer,
I still question what that means,
I write based off the music I listen to,
I also write from the heart,
I don't tell myself I owe anyone my writing,
If I owe anyone anything,
It would be my heart,
I have felt it shatter so much,
Especially when I see happy couples,
I break down,
I throw these notebooks down,
Wish I had gasoline to burn every poem,
But I know everyone expects something new,
A new era of writing,
But I will never change how I write,
I'm in my comfort level of writing,
I shall never conform to a new style,
I'm a free verse poet
