Phil, there are times to speak in metaphors and similes, but this poem speaks as it is. Life is cruel, but the human factor cannot be underestimated. We have the will to force the hand of fate and forge a new destiny. Supporting one another, especially siblings is a cause worth fighting for - worth loving for. |

A sad piece indeed. If this is about our mutual friend on site, then I can only hope this 'disease' is a metaphor for depression and nothing more serious...mind you, depression is often fairly serious itself. |
