Life is like a Balloon - February 2017

by Everlasting   Feb 17, 2017

Life is like a balloon
inflating
by the mouths of those around us

And then
once we realize,
we have enough
of their air
inside of us,

tying
our life;

making a knot
before we explot.

that's how life
starts to then become
fun

It becomes a balloon,
floating
from hand to hand
without anyone's else
air getting inside of us

it goes on and on

until
our own air
begins
to slowly

dissipate

and we end up
with a desinflated,
wrinkled

balloon.

I can personally relate to an image if a wrinkled up balloon. *looks down*

now it's me who feels "deflated."

Holy cow. Comparing life to a balloon! What an amazing concept and like some balloons, life can be popped short with no warning. I love this comparison. Beautifully done!

This shows you have a creative and unique perspective. It expresses that life is simple yet complex. You did a wonderful job taking something profound and wrapping it into simplicity.
