Hello Shadow.

This is a really well written and intriguing write that rhymes beautifully throughout.
I myself have often been left frustrated by life and wondering what the next turn will bring, or whether or not I should 'step off the beaten path' and take a chance - make things happen myself.
But what would be the consequences and - often - it's better the devil you know, perhaps.

Anyway, like you, I continue to procrastinate and wonder if one day I will regret doing so!

Ah! I question the same sometimes. Hard no to do. Oh well, but people say, worrying does not help at all. So I try to take a deep breathe and I try to calm down to try to see the situation with a positive light. It's hard but it's worth the try.

Wow...this is simply amazing, Shadow. As Peter said, you have mirrored my life as well! It's really great when what I feel is exactly captured by the words of a fellow poet. I think it gives me comfort that we go thru the same things, it gives hope and encouragement.
