This is a very interesting poem. At the beginning the reader is made to believe that all these scenes really happened. Then at the end, you surprise them by saying:
it used to be so simple
To imagine such scenes
Even if they were
Nothing more than daydreams

This last verse makes the reader believe that these scenes are simply things that you wish would've happened.

Great job. This is an amazing poem.
