Sticks and stones break my bones
But words unspoken kill me
My guilt spilling from my eyes
The words my mouth refuse to say

I want to say I'm sorry
But I know it's too late
I want to ask you to forgive me
But I know it's too late

It's too late to stop the pain
To silence the thoughts
My mouth turns to the bottle
Even though it should not

The words unspoken kill me
"I'm so sorry"...
