Compression

I've never been a scholar
Though I learned along the way
Not massively religious
But for some souls I will pray

Never one for geography
Mountains do not move and do not sway
And often I will loose myself
But I always find a way

Never classed as a literate
Though I write a lot of things
Some depict an ending
Some show me it begins

Never one for riddles
I don't have the time to dwell
life flashes by, leaves you behind
It's penny's down the well.

Countless words passed through my ears
Many of which abhorred
At times they're comprehended
But they're meaningless, !not stored!

I've never asked for acceptance
I've never made demands
I've never begged forgiveness
And I've never had a plan

Due to twisted things both said and done
It's from my thoughts you leave
The pressure gone, no crushing weight
I finally feel that I can breath

Craig, your write obviously is "writing" some one off. It's done well, good rhyming throughout. Not sure who has wronged you but please don't sell yourself short. You have accomplished much-
