Hi and welcome. Here you have written a superb rhyming piece (I am partial to rhyming poetry though it doesn't have to rhyme to be poetry anyway...)

1/ Emotion can take over us and when we are full of emotion we can feel like we're on a rollercoaster and all we want to do is scream to get off but screaming doesn't help so we have to stay in till the rollercoaster stops and hope it'll help stop the emotions from flowing. Sometimes having no goal is because we feel in life we have no purpose but we all do we just have to find it.

2/ Again, when we are hurt emotions take over and we can do nothing to stop them apart from pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and carry on and hopefully things will improve. We can no doubt all relate to this as we have all felt like failures at some point in our lives and if we haven't then we probably will, unfortunately.

3/ I absolutely loved the imagery here and I imagined you standing in an hour glass, trying to hold the sand in your hand but it slipping through just like the time ticking away and us being unable to stop it.

A fantastic, thought provoking first write.
