I'm can visualize the the scene teasing each other with sweet compliments...i love the last stanza also it shows that in every relationship there's a king and queen..i must stay ahead and the other one will follow... What a simply beautiful poem with some magical sprinklings of rhyme throughout, which you know I like!
When we find ourselves in a relationship as equal and understanding as this, we can count ourselves lucky indeed.

Brenda, you always write beautiful words about love, ones that some can relate to and others wish they could. And I feel when you have found that special someone (I wish i had then others times i am glad i only have myself) you feel like you're on top of the world with them at your side.

Perceptions what are those?? Well, in my opinion its how someone, anyone perceives us, how they judge us and people do unfortunately some of them wrong and some of them so right but sometimes peoples perceptions' of us and ours of them are well and truly wrong. Anyway, here this person perception of you is so, so right!!

1/ All I am going to say is you are beautiful and when someone tells us this we never believe them. Maybe it's the past or maybe it's just how we feel about ourselves that we just can't believe them so we do joke about how they can't see properly. Etc because we can't see our own beauty and we'd be very modest if we did but some people are very confident in the way they look so can

2/ Absolutely loved this part Brenda and its so lovely that you have found the one and you are so trusting that he will never hurt you and I'm really happy because you deserve an honest kind of love that never ends even when (and I'm sorry to say) when one of you passes because its that kind of love that will last forever and ever and it makes md beam reading your stuff about your relationship.

3/ When you're in an honest relationship full of love you both take the flack for stuff and neither is above the other and that's how it should be.
