The Fake Corpse

by WritingtheStars   Mar 17, 2017

It was almost as if I were dead.

My bones felt so heavy,
I could only move
if I focused extraordinarily hard.
Even then,
I could barely move an inch.
There was dried blood on my face
where I picked at my cheek earlier in the day
out of stress and frustration.
I haven't had the energy to clean it up.

If someone were to walk in and see me,
then they would most definitely think I had passed.

This can be read in many ways. Heavy bones that you cannot lift either from injury caused by someone deliberately or by accident or from symptoms of an auto immune condition. Either way it is an awful thing to experience

A very dark but extremely visual write that actually made me shiver in a couple of places.

Well done and all the best,

The scene is absolutely a horror to see. Yes, I did shiver at the thought.
