Alex, I like this as like your other writes its straight to the point (kind of) and rather different to anybody elses on here which is good, different is always good in my eyes.

1/ Firstly and please accept my apologises at what people say is nit picking but "there" in the first line should be "there's" anyway.. I totally agree, its lovely to be sat next to someone in silence, trying to read their thoughts as they are no doubt trying to read yours and just sitting there wanting to know exactly their thoughts but being unable to lol sorry maybe that's just my crazy side :/

2/ I am nodding along though I haven't had this is some time.

3/ Yes, just being there enjoying the scenery which I take as enjoying each others company.

4/ This is a beautiful ending, nothing beats silence with the one you love next to you because at least they are there by your side whether it's quiet or not.
