Enlightenment Doesn't Come Easy

by Alex Yew   Apr 2, 2017

Every now and then
As my steps are slowed
I could view further
and immerse me
in deep thoughts.

I could hear the sounds of nature
as if a carefree hummingbird
joyfully flapping its wings

Life is tiny yet precious!
Who cares about
the unpleasant noises
that unscrupulously
steal our happiness away.

Be your true self,
Even if truths are twisted
and people are misguided
by rumours and false words
as one day
just one day
Time tells everything.

Looking at such tranquil scenery,
The calamity is gone
I have found my peace
The pure land in the heart is seen.

Love the line life is tiny yet precious as its so true for many people it may be short but as long as we get something out of life, its worth it, right?

Indeed, i cant agree more with you. As time passes, we grow to treasure tiny little things more.
