Lovely, Ken. What an interesting and original write this is. As I read, I could almost imagine my own lips becoming parched and then, at the end, drenched in the wholesome goodness of heaven's springs!

    Well done indeed, good man.

    Take care,

    Ben

Thank you Darklight, Ben and Em, the Song; Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain was an inspiration to me in writing this poem. Also those Monday Holidays laying in bed with the sound of the rain outside was a delight! Our daughter in California always misses those beautiful billowing Clouds of Florida.
      Regards to all, Ken

I love the imagery in this poem. It creates an effect of one of those "speed up nature" videos. I like the flow of events, how it's high spirited, brings you down and up again.

    Well done!

BTW, I just watched a video last week from "TED Ed" titled "What makes a poem... a poem?" and from it I understand that poetry can be in paragraph form. It's called "Prose poetry". So, I'm sorry for criticizing you about that because that's your style.

Zahra, don't be sorry, I acually like the new style that you taught me. In School English was my Class and you are a great Teacher! By the way, my first Cousin Evelyn was an English Teacher in Canada and she published a Book about English but I don't know the details, maybe a Goggle search under her maiden name Tierney? Ken
