Music, Moon and Flashing Lights

by Maple Tree   Apr 25, 2017

The brightness of your lights
Interrupted
the creshendo
of the melody
I
was listening to; officer

You need to
understand
after a late night
of mental banter,
my vehicle becomes
wings upon my back,
breezes twist my long locks
and the moon deserves my
full attention.

I'll fix the headlight
when dawn rises;
thank you for the ticket.

****************
Note: a policeman stopped me for having a headlight out,
After a long, chaotic night at work... I was enjoying the moonlit drive before he rudely interrupted me :-)
