Is it wrong?

by Lyical Madness   Apr 26, 2017

Is it wrong that I miss you
That I ache & feel so raw
As each day passes by
Without the you here to adore

Is it wrong that I miss you
All the passion & the fire
As well as your infectious laughter
Especially the mutual desire

I didn't think I would miss you
It has caught me unaware
The gnarling wrench it stirs inside
My soul vulnerable & bare

Should I tell you that I miss you
Or will it merely push you away
Then all the colour you have brought to my life
Will vanish & turn to grey

So please know that I miss you
That my heart feels a little hollow
Without you there's an emptiness
A lump I can not swallow

I didn't think that I would miss you
But your words are a beacon in the night
I wish I could say how much I want you here
But I am not one to stop another's flight

So here I am, I miss you
There's no more I can say
I just look forward to seeing you someday again
& resuming things, like you've never been away

Such a sad write, it is awful when that special someone up and leaves and you are left missing them so and wondering why. Well done-
