LITTLE THINGS

LITTLE THINGS

It’s all those little things you do every day that keep my thoughts focused on you.
When you pick up my shoe or straighten my tie, when I get angry at you and mumble some nasty words, you remain silent and let it lie.

When I must go away, you never say goodbye but I still remember those tears in your eyes. Some blow trumpets about their good deeds, not you love, God rewards the silent with treasures keep safe in Heaven above.
That day I fell into the lake, not only did you smile as I climbed out with a boyish look on my face, that night you baked me my favorite Angel Food Cake.

The little hug I get when I’m down, a gentle tap on the knee when with friends and I act like a clown. The time I forget someone’s name, you quickly said; Sarah, we remember your Party where we first met, I sigh, it’s so great how she can read my mind.
I have read that God made *Eve from Adams rib and that she was everything beautiful from he, so loving her was loving himself also! She had some interesting equipment otherwise there would be no you and me, not a fib you see.

It takes two to Tango, unless we share, our cupboard will remain bare. Hey love,
let’s boogie like we used to do, you can lead and I will follow you, want some mango?*When the Lord made Eve, I think Adam’s reaction was; WOW! God was right, it’s not good for a man to be alone, especially at night when it’s cold, you need someone to hold you tight. In their creation God made them Partners, equals, when Sin entered it changed the Rules temporarily as a Holy and Righteous God had to Judge their sin, he made Adam work and sweat to live and support his family and Eve fell from her equality and had submit to her Husband’s authority along with increased pain in bearing children. This punishment exists even to this day but the Good News is that one day the Lord will establish his Righteous 1000 Year Reign on this Earth,
the equality between men and woman will be restored because the curse of Sin will be lifted.
One of my favorite Bible jokes is when Eve asked Adam, do you still love me? He answered; Who else?
