Tears

by Meena Krish   May 5, 2017

You surface without announcing
understand the depth of my feelings,
the softness of your swelling spirit
becomes real by the minute;

There is no time or day for you to appear
circumstance always keeps you near,
comfort settles when you come to visit
the joy of sadness has no limit;

Pent up emotions struggling in me
you break them and set them free,
aches dissolves from my sight
as you lay me to sleep at night;

but you know…

I cannot hold onto you forever
we have to learn to let go off each other,
days of pain will arise…you will hear
when you do come join the pain
which sears

    The contradiction the wavering of feeling is waving and fluctuating through out this poem

    comfort settles when you come to visit
    the joy of sadness has no limit;

    This wonderful piece of painting entirely is coloured in contrast

    It's beautiful, even though we know we must let go we must do it when we are ready, I love it Meena

    Such a sad poem Meena.
    It can be difficult to let go sometimes.
    Well penned sentiments.
