Gravity Teardrops:

by Scott Cole   May 6, 2017

For Life's drippy water faucet
The World is a drag,
Cause gravity steps in
And she starts to brag.

She's always pulling and pulling
On your precious teardrops,
Until that's all they can do
And they slowly just flop.

You got cold water and hot
The good and the bad,
like for quenching your thirst
And late nights that are sad.

Right above that kitchen sink
Or that really big bath tub,
That sweeps my miseries away
With dish soap or rubba dubs.

Cause my seal is all busted
I'm not like I was,
I use to sleep all night
Now I out run the Sun.

All of those water works
That I had kept inside,
They use to be ok
And they use to be mine.

But the wear and the tear
From those dirty little hands,
Or those pearly little whites
That don't need a golden tan.

For my pressures are building
Upon my seals that are busted,
I'm losing my precious fluids
And I feel so dang disgusted.
