Gravity Winds

by Larry Chamberlin   May 9, 2017

Lost in the stellar fields
pulled as in a gale force
not by atmospheric air
but by the incessant tug
of competing masses
both dark and visible.

Here I play out my life
never knowing what’s
next: fresh adventures or
dangerous tides of creation
and the nuances of reality
that experience always
modifies without regard
to benefit or deprivation.

An interesting peace with depth. I felt on the surface you were writing about gravity and space but at a more deeper level about a person being isolated yet floating buffeted and pulled by the forces around him sometimes leading into adventure and other times into danger. A most enjoyable piece x
