Take a chance and try something.
Take a breath, stand tall, be bold.

The buzz is unbelievable,
And we risk our lives it's true.
One man, a boy or woman,
This is simply what we do.

The screaming of your muscles,
The lactic acid builds,
You grit your teeth and push it back,
For we live for this thrill.

If you don't succeed at least you tried,
And that memory you can hold,
You had a shot you crapped yourself
But oh the stories to be told.

There are the things that scare us,
Sometimes they feel so near
But I'm buggered if I'm gonna live my life
And let it be controlled by fear.

Some of you will not understand this
But it's a thing I always say
It's words I love and live by
Better to burn out
