The Poets Behind The Poems 9:

[ Naughtymouse ]

A naughtymouse forever broken lived in a jade castle
He was the alpha devil of a toxic wonderland,
Where blue dreams of cheese danced in his head
And that smell of wicked ways on his hands.

He lived with a silver knight with a broken sword
Beneath a magnetic moon that wore silvershoes,
A secret naughtymouse that nobody knows
Who's tiny voice and tilly toe tottes we're blue.

His dark shadows and wicked clown thoughts
And all his tragic beauty tainted butterflies for miles,
And all his liquid dreams from a hollow dreamer
Made a beautiful mess of all the lemon squeezy smiles.

One day King Harry the silver knight of faith
And the pale Queen of the silent nights,
Called a board meeting to get to the vengeful truth
So they could think and decide how to shed some light.

The King held a soft parade for all tropical sea monsters
Anyone who's interested in taking naughtymouse down,
So silver shattered glasses that contained rootbeer
Were passed out by the fairy mary poppins of the town.

A lilly of the valley sat on the King's thinking table
Where he meet with the pale Queen of silent nights,
Together they combined their thoughts and talked
To just see how they should fight this cheese fight.

As Angels of music filled the air with inked words
A small dark shadow from the back of the room stood,
I'm the golden silver boy with wings of neon flames
And I would love to smash a mean mouse if I could.

So the pale Queen and the silver knight looked about
As dry pixie dust fell along with some musical tunes,
Then out of the pink bliss the silver knight yelled
Whoever catches that mouse shall get my magical flute.

So the silver boy and his best friend time bandit
His dog and the best dragon slayer in all of the hills,
They gathered their mouse traps and their good cheese
And place it into a crystal bottle without a seal.

Behind all the black clouds of all the poets in town
They searched every corner for that naughtymouse,
A dim nameless face and a really big danger to all
For all the insane need their bad minds doused.

So all the smart Angels and really bright farries
Along with silver boy and time bandit his dog,
Checked ever cracked and broken door in town
Every calm lake and under every dead fallen log.

Like a silver boy on strong feathered Angel wings
He walked into town hall dangling naughtymouse,
The King and Queen raised their little heads in joy
While all the pixeled farry dust filled up the loud house .

The problem was simple said silver boy's mouth
That mouse doesn't like cheese as the other mice do,
For naughtmouse only likes that stale rotten cheese
Those with a punchet aroma and only comes in blue.

For the poet behind the poets.

    The poet behind the poets
Oh the words he can twist and weave
Names and experience woven into story
    All those vivid colours seen

    With skill and understanding
    He makes those picture's move
    Dancing words and images bind
Flowing like the river, elegant and smooth

To see my name flashed up in lights
I first thought what the hell !
After reading all those beautiful words
Humbled, twas to my knees I fell.

Not to your standard but my way of saying a little thank you from all of us.

Good lord, Scott. Either you had a club challenge or simply wanted to implicate as many fellows and you dared. Delicious raconteur.
